There are three major chapters (so far) in Zack Seckler’s life. We’ll look at each chapter separately, to whet your appetite and make you want to come back for more!

Part 1: Boston-born and raised, Zack started out studying psychology and economics at Syracuse University. In his senior year he became interested in photography and opened every book on the subject he could lay his hands on, reading ‘till the wee hours and then trying out ideas with his camera the next day. Fortunately S.U. has a great photojournalism school, because he decided to switch his full-time studies to photography.

After graduation he started stringing for The Associate Press and pretty soon was making enough money to start a savings account (good thing he studied economics, eh?). That money was important, because it enabled him to pursue photography on a purely personal level as well as succeeding in editorial, commercial and advertising work. Way to go, Zack!
